PNG 4 Wheeler Kits

Emailed Phil from Phils Narrow Gauge the other day and asked about the 4 wheeler cars he is producing.

Following is his response…reprinted with his permission of course.

"I almost half way through the GRAMPS instructions right now. Lots of detail
work that’s has to be 100% correct. I expect the GRAMPS to occupy most of my
time for at least 2 months. Then will get into final R&D and construction of
the 4 wheelers and do the instructions.

Best guess, sometime in early May. The caboose and passenger will be first
up on the list.

Phil"

After I asked if I could post his response…

"Sure, now I feel the heat on. Hopefully most know that building trains is
not a full time job for me. While retired for the last 5 years, my wife
still has 2 years to go. Cost of living in California is through the roof
and my pension and train income don’t fill that cost. So, I’ve had to bit
the bullet and do a sizable amount of telco contracting. Once my wife
retires, we’re moving to Colorado. Colorado Springs Area. Will leave no
forwarding numbers or address to any telco related companies or
customers!!!

Currently I’m writing up the instructions for the GRAMPS tank car. Hope to
finish up by this weekend. Then a short run to verify all processes and to
get kits out to the magazines for review and then general sales to follow.
18 months in development … I’m ready to get it off the R&D
table!!!

Phil"

We are looking forward to the release also! Thanks Phil!
