Plum harvest

I just wanted to say, I really got a kick out of the “Plum harvest” photo in the current issue of GR. Beautifully shot, and a nice blend of whimsy and realism.

Hey Ray, you heard about French plum schnaps? Called "Pruneau"; glad to see the French grow them that h-u-g-e now, that should get the extra litres. ;) :D

I also thought that picture was outstanding, but then again if you remember the issue with that layout , the whole thing is outstanding, I literally had to do a doubletake to make sure they werent real full size trains in the pics. Plumbs Up

it totally freaked out my bride…if purposally left it open to that page on the counter…she walked by and glanced, then backed up and picked up the mag…it really took her in. I’ve never seen the mag article…Vic which one is it featured in? There are a few shots of it in Mark and Pats book.

I loved the picture too–and we showed it to our daughter, who’s three–she thought they were grapes

it’s a really nicely staged shot with a great sense of humor
