Hi guys:
Can anyone post a ROGERS prototype 4-4-0 photo resembling the Playmobil 4-4-0 loco?
Is this model still available?
Thank you,
Norman

Norman,
search out David Fletcher on the web. I believe his website may have had a similar prototype loco.
As regards the Playmobil, loco, I believe that it was track powered - long since deceased production. Always the occasional eBay pop up but usually quite expensive.
Edit: Norman I tracked down David’s website via the MLS Masterclass forum. The following link is for a Rogers 2-4-2, but David did do a Masterclass on a Rogers 0-6-0. I could not readily locate a 4-4-0 model.
the “wild west” loco from playmobil (they called it the “steaming Mary”) is loosely based on “the General”.
it is a dummy loco showed by a motorized tender.
it is not produced, since playmobil changed from LGB based trains and track to plastic track and RC battery trains. 15? or 20? years i guesstimate)
edit: shoved, not showed…
German eBay has some

and some pictures for the 4-4-0 variety
