Piko starter set at "Tuesday Morning" discount chain

Just got a flyer from a discount chain out here named “Tuesday Morning” sort of an upscale Big Lots/ Pic-n-Save, and in it was listed the Piko 0-6-0 starter set, the UP one is pictured. They had the Buddy-L sets as well when those were blown out. I dont know where these came from (Silvergate? I doubt it if they are importing Piko) but there they are, listed for $149.99, which is about the same as some online shops had them at. So heads up if your interested, the Buddy L sets dissappeared very quickly I think these might also go quickly too.

That’s where I got my Buddy L, which got me started on my little empire!

Gee Ray, Those of us who have "Bloody L's" have been referred to as "supposed hobbyists" elsewhere on the forum  I would say that denotes a lack of understanding of the English language, as "hobbyist" does not imply any skill or knowledge level ;)

Myself,
I like my Buddy L. The metal boiler and side rods give it potential. The “Prairie” wheel arrangement is also unique in G scale.
And if the Buddy L got you started, that is certainly a redeeming quality

Must be regional - herein the Atlanta area I just checked the last two my wife got (1 yesterday) and it does not have this listed, though I’m going by one of their stores today just to be sure… Been looking for one of these for a project.
