Ok not sure if I accomplished what I was trying here , but I THINK i have put pictures of my back yard here for all your critisism, thoughts or concerns. There is room for at least 10 foot diameter curves around the pool equipment on east side, on the west I can do a 14ft and have room for a yard and access to storage the short block wall along the north fence is around 14" tall, any thoughts about how long of grade will be needed to get trains up from lower to upper level? I figure to model a 70’s to 80s era with areas for switching and hope to have 20+car trains. I know a LOT of bush, plant trimming is in the works for where I want to run the trains. In the picture of the pool , I have a vision of a track snaking between the cooldecking, is something with that much curving back and forth feasable or too much headaches?Plan is for

Grade length depends on how high you need to climb, and how steep of a climb you want. 20 plus car trains would probably be limited to 2% grade, or thereabouts.
