Apparently, Photobucket has seen the error of its ways and it was its CEO. Its photos have been restored, there is a new pricing structure in place, and the CEO has left the company. I never used the service but I know many of you did, so this could be welcome news.

there is probably some stupid code written in that will prevent them from going where they belong so they can be seen until everyone pays their ransom, extortion … I mean their new fee

The few places I have glanced around, the pictures seem to be back!
You still have to pay $2.50 a month for posting pics online - over and above the $2, $3, or $9 a month just for storing you photos. It’s too late. I cancelled my account and won’t go back. They aren’t the only game in town.
