Photo Posting Sequence

Please read the following request in context of my not having a computer vocabulary.
Thanks.

For me, a specific Windows 7 HOW-TO instructional sequence on posting photos would be very helpful.
Yes, I am aware there have been previous postings --yet, not 1-2-3 specific for Windows 7 or 8

Thanks,
Wendell

The first step is to have the photo reside somewhere on the net. Upload them to Facebook, Flickr or one of these others, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_photo-sharing_websites.

View the photo in your browser and copy the URL in the address bar (highlight the whole address and click Ctrl + C or right click and choose copy). Sometimes you can just right click on the photo and choose “copy image URL”

Step 2 is in this forum, click on the icon above the reply window that looks like a photo of a tree, when you mouse over the icons above you will see insert/edit image.

That opens a window and in the box labeled " Image URL" paste the address by either Ctrl+V, or right click and choose paste.

First I just uploaded this to my freight shed. On the home page click on Freight Shed, we all get some space there. Click on upload files, then use the browser to find files on your hard drive. Add as many as there are boxes, or less. Click on upload in that box, after the page changes, highlight the name and click on save url (from memory as I use firefox) Look above and select the home page tab, open it and go to thread where you want to post.

Click on the tree icon next to the movie film icon. Click in the box that opens and Paste the link you saved. Then click on Insert and there you go. Use Enter key on keyboard to get below your pic, on the above I saw my cursor slide down the right side to the bottom. Use of Back key can erase pic… good to know if wrong pic or place!

Hope this helps…

Been talk of cabeese lately, looks like pure man cave to me!

Check out the pin up`s. Somebody is a hound dog.

I just upload to tiny pics, snapfish etc… Right click on the photo and hit copy. Then paste into the forum. You don’t even have to copy the URL.

I first resize my photos down to 640x480 or so . Lately I have been going even smaller so more will fit in the freight shed.

Sign in to the forum.

click on freight shed

upload resized photo to freight shed. When you named the photo make sure not to have any spaces in the name.

to post click on freight shed tab, find your photo, left click to open it, up at the top of your screen you will see the address for the photo, the URL, right click on it and copy, exit out and back to your message.
At the top of your message box is a tree image, click on it to open a box paste the photo URL into it then click on insert and you are done.

good luck
