Picked this up off the EBT list. A very nice video of an “almost” 2 -foot ore hauler in Peru that operated into the 80’s…

The portland cement hauler shut down and was left intact in the early 1980s. 600mm gauge Baldwin and Porter steam locomotives sit around waiting the day which may see their restoration. If one knows where to look, there are a number of 2’ or close to it railroads still running around the world. Some are well worn and others as modern as a US class 1. There are still a few 2’ Garretts running too. 2 feet between the rails is a 7/8ths modeler’s paradise…:smiley:

Make sure you look at this guy’s other videos. The Brazilian RR Ferrovia São João del Rei - 1976 - Pt. 1,2 &3 are really good and the locos are all Baldwins.
