A 20 inch tall Chrysler building. Perfect for G-scale or even “standard” gauge
No wonder people get frustrated with the scale issue when some idiot is pushing a 20 inch tall Chrysler building as G-scale.
Even too small for HO.

Let me see. The Chrysler building is about 1050 feet and this is a little under 2 feet. It works out to about 1:600 scale. Might work for that tiny T-scale at 1:450!

I didn’t know how tall the Chrysler building was. But I know it is taller than 4 stories ;).
This is pretty obvious to those of us here.
Some of your wives and children are pretty involved in the GRR and might know better too.
But there are a lot of women and children who wouldn’t know better. Some guys, too. Shopping for a gift, and they see “perfect for G-scale.”
Of course, plenty of disclaimers, like “I’m not a scale guy”.
“You be the judge”.
But, you should believe him because he has an “O” scale layout

There isn’t anything “perfect for G scale”, because “G scale” isn’t perfect to begin with.
What exactly is perfect G scale?
Close to G scale would be a model fifty feet tall or so.
