Thanks guys.
I finally got the 2nd Endoscope scheduled for this Monday morning.
Now the important stuff; Except for spiking the rail, she’s done and there is the last crossing to be studied.
Fill trestles … Since the railroads liked to build their own right of way… trestles were often buried.
The trestles tended to be simpler than the regular models.
My land has a 20 degree tilt here just to add realism …
I have Javalinas coming in my yard and I’ve left ways for them to get under the layout. Sometimes they think they can fly. I saw on 200 pound critter clear 4 feet 2 feet off the ground. Unfortunately they are reminded that they can’t actually fly about the time they achieve Takeoff!
Here is what I call; A Pigs Landing…
I added green arrows to point out the split next to the track and how far it rolled by the one at the top corner. The back board is off and before I re-do it I saw some track laying that isn’t up to standards, must of been one of those weary good enough daze.
Fill trestles … I enjoy the research as much as the building …
My crew is hoping for better luck than this crew …
Yep 2 locos couldn’t fly…
Since the weather has changed faster than my acclimation I may fiddle with the rail truck project in the shade. 90 and rising…
