Paris, France: US Carriers to Bomb Indonesian Tsunami Victims

There was a conference in France where a number of international engineers were taking part, including French and American. During a break, one of the French engineers came back into the room saying ‘Have you heard the latest dumb stunt Bush has done? He has sent an aircraft carrier to Indonesia to help the tsunami victims. What does he intended to do, bomb them?’

A Boeing engineer stood up and replied quietly: ‘Our carriers have three hospitals on board that can treat several hundred people each day; they are nuclear powered and can supply emergency electrical power to shore facilities; they have three cafeterias with the capacity to feed 3,000 people three meals a day, they can produce several thousands of gallons of fresh water from sea water each day, and they carry half a dozen helicopters for use in transporting victims and injured to and from their flight deck. We have eleven such ships; how many will France be sending?’

You could have heard a pin drop.

Frogs.
Only use for them is to whack off the legs and cook them.

Haven’t been worth a hoot since Lafayette’s day.
Vichy was the start of the fall off the cliff, DeGaulle was the crash.

On the bottom, they got the “EU” so they could try to be a “World Power” again.

Of course, we have French Anti-Freze…errr…wine.
Re:No! (said “Renault”) with the Le Carcass, and Citroen, crooked AirBus CEOs, but, since it seems the entire country falls into the US definition of “Liberal”, they get a “walk” from our leftist press.

I think they’re still piXXed off at us that we “liberated” them from the Germans.
Hell, they could have had their “EU” 65 years ago!

Jay Leno had a great joke the other night in his monologue. He said the Germans were so excited about Obama’s speech that they started chanting his name in unison like they used to do for Hitler. The French became so overwhelmed by this, that they have already surrendered just in case.

Snopes.com has a bunch of these “pin drop” emails posted, including the Colin Powell one you posted earlier

Never allow the truth to interfere with a good story. Besides, I don’t believe Snopes half the time, anyway.

Sure are a lot of pins dropping around here lately…

Well, the Boeing engineering is still right!

Mark,

As long as they weren’t pulled from hand grenades we’re OK. But with the militant contingence around here you can never tell.

BOOOOOOOOOOM there goes one!
