Paint match for bachmann's graphite?

Anyone know of a decent paint match for Bachmann’s smoke box graphite color? I usually mix my own and brush it on to fix blemishes but I want to spray this particular project. I bought a few rattle cans from Home depot but they weren’t close. I then tried a gunmetal but it was too blueish. any tips or leads would be great. Oh, I also don’t have an airbrush as yet so it needs to be a rattle can color.

On a side note for you DRGW guys; home depot has a color ‘flat hammered nickel’ that looks really close to a weathered silver color that they seemed to paint everything.

I like to paint them flat black, and then apply powdered graphite over that with a large soft brush … going over it with the brush until it gets a burnished look. Not a match, exactly, but easy to fix from there forward.

Terry, I have a rattle can here that I bought when doing Utility …look at the one on the left and if it is the color your after e-mail me and I’ll send it to you (if your allowed to mail them) don’t remember who’s it is but it’s metallic graphite that I got at a hobby shop for a steep price on such a little can. I’ll probably never use it.

Sorry rooster I forgot to subscribe to this thread and totally forgot to look at it. I just ended up mixing my own. it didn’t come out to bad.
