“….Just have to find a local shop that carries the badger paint. …”
Hopefully you find availability in your region, 'cause out here in Calgary till 4 yrs ago Badger ModelFlex had disappeared from the local hobby shops in favor of the ‘toxic’ (IMHO) brands. Even though ‘ModelFlex’ is now more readily available locally the new and upcoming MR hobbyists are still being pointed in the direction of the other brands.
ex. a active teenage MR hobbyist volunteered to do a clinic on his weathering techniques mentioned testor, floquil . . . . when I mentioned Badger Modelflex his face went blank even though they had been back in the local marketplace for 4 yrs.
I suggested he look for the Badger booth at our (then) upcoming April 2017 train show and acquire information on their product line-up. A (air brush) paint product which would give him another option to use within his air brush, and with waaay less toxic levels (concern mentioned by him within his presentation).
Mike ya might reach out to BAB directly. They might be able to tell you who is the closest vendor of ‘ModelFlex’ within your region.
