Only 2 weeks away -

Looks like I will be there Sunday. Al Pomeroy may ride with me if the weather permits him driving down from NH. Shawn already said he would be there Saturday and Sunday.

Anyone else? This is an easy drive from Harrisburg and York. Nice small laid back event with lots of good folks just hanging’ around running trains in a nice warm trolley barn.

Probably not gonna make it …but who knows?

It’s understandable that you have an aversion to boiling water

Weather forecasters are saying we might get another storm next weekend. If we do I may bail. No joy going over Storm King and the hill just East of Pt. Jervis when it’s bad.

Whos the good looking guy? lol

I heard of a possible storm for the weekend as well. I sure hope they are wrong. Worst case Jon my place is open. If its bad I wont go either PA does not know how to plow and 84 can get nasty in the snow.

Rooster I think you will have fun. Ill even treat you to lunch if you come. It might be good for you to get some of that steam oil in your lungs. Although it can be harmful for those powered boxcar people.

Saturday Im taking the kids and doing trolley ride. Sunday will be for running.

Looks like the weekned is going to be good. Maybe 1-2 inches of snow tonight but the rest of the weekend is looking good. I went up today and helped set up the steam tracks and did some running with the guys. Tomorrow Im taking the kids and wife for some running and trolley ride and then Sunday Im heading up with a friend to run all day. Looking forward to seeing you up their Jon.

We’ll be there. I talked with Al Pomeroy today; he is meeting me in Danbury about 6AM Sunday. We’ll grab a bite to eat then hit the road. Should be there before 10.

Our forecast says some snow (light) tonight and again Saturday night into Sunday morning; but not enough to stop us (I hope). I think I have just enough gas to make it to NJ where I’ll save 20-30 cents a gallon.

Lol if you run out call me

I would Shawn, but chances are you’ll be a bunch of miles ahead of me by then. Hope you guys have fun today.

Jon we had a great time today. Did the trolley ride with the kids and played in the kids section. Only ran the forney once but tomorrow will be the running day. Today was for the kids.

Im going to bring a few log cars with link and pins for my stuff but your welcome to use them as well. Cant wait to play tomorrow. SOme nice stuff running this year and not a large crowed, lots of open track.
