Getting the roof pieces on. I used the plastic political board stuff for the roof sections, covered the open ends with metal duct tape, also used it for flashing. The black is outdoor double sided tape, it holds down the pieces good till the glue dries. Probably be fine with just it, but might as well use glue also(Goop).
I got the grain mill finished . The Kent signs are from the local mill, I took pix of them and printed them off on ink jet vinyl paper that I coated with a UV inhibitor. Lights are up near the top on both sides and over the office door inside. I just have it sitting out for these pix, will go elsewhere, once it warms up and the snow is gone.

That looks sharp! What are the overall dimensions? Did the lights and chain come with your “kit”?
Jerry, It turned out great… Nice work…
And I thought you had given up on it Jerry. Looks good. I see where you added brackets to the base of the building to hold it in place once put on the RR. Got to look out for those Neb winds. Later RJD
Thanks guys. It did not come with the light/chain, did have the pully and a little handcart and scale. If you want one for outside, I’d skip the kit, make the basics out of wood, then cover it with Precision boards/corrugated or make your own siding.
It was supposed to be 29" tall, I made mine 25" so it did not dominate my layout so much. 10" deep/wide. Rooster weather vane is a good idea, where did you get yours. Birds would probably just knock it off!
It’s from Ozark Miniatures.
Jerry,
It looks great!
You did a fine job.

Looks Great Jerry!
Jerry,
Looks great. Really nice job on the signs.
Ralph
Very nice!
Nice work Jerry.
Very sharp. Need to build me one of those, I think.
Nice job Jerry. I like the signage too and the reduced height to 25" makes for great proportions.
I also think it’d be a good idea to hang a rooster from the roof. hehehe!
