OVGRS web page

Yentlemen, and ladies, if you are interested.

The OVGRS web page is generally kept well up-to-date, unlike some you may get refered to.
But; just to remind anyone who cares to look in on what in heck we have been doing, and at the same time grab a hint or idea ; drop in at; www.ovgrs.org/

The web page has just been brought up-to-date as of yesterday.

Does the half of a turntable operate and get used ?
A real space saver just being the half , if it does .

Nice web site , makes a person want to operate trains there .

Yes, Dennis; that turntable is used all the time. it is a full turntable, but half of the simulated pit. It takes up less space.
The turntable idea was Dave Goodson’s, so we call it “the Dave Goodson Memorial Turntable”, and it has a brass plate on it that is engraved with that name.

There actually are two turntables in use; both the same design. The other one is at the end of the “RP&M” which is the branch line.

Dennis; if you can get here, you would be most welcome.

Thanks for the update, Fred

Fred,

The ovgrs web site is a valuable resource. I just stumbled upon the thread about how to convert a Bachmann 4-4-0 to battery service. I just moved that project up quite a bit on the “to do” list.

Nice pics, too.
