Thinking of you …(http://largescalecentral.com/externals/tinymce/plugins/emoticons/img/smiley-innocent.gif)

Looking forward to hearing from you about great results.

Good luck Devon! See you when you get back.

Chris

Best of luck. I am thinking of you today. I can hardly wait to hear of your success!

Well it’s probably done by now, I hope all the parts fit back in.

Prayin’ for you.

Well I am back among the living. Surgery went well and was a success as the shunt is already draining. For the first time in a long while I have no pressure or ringing in my ear. Have a headache but considering what was just done to me that’s kinda a no brainer (pun very much intended

Duplicate. I hate Bill Gates.

Devon’s out of surgery. Pressure and tinnitus are gone. He now has a stomachache.

He can work on his RR with a tummyache.

edit: to change Kevin back to Devon

Good to hear!

Steve

Maybe we should send Devon a get well gift of a shunter? (European and others’ term for switcher locomotive)

Great news! When will they give you the boot?

Most likely in the morning.

Hmm, didn’t Diana Ross have a song which went something like

"Boot me in the morning

Send me on my way

Don’t keep me tomorrow

'Cause I had surgery"

?

Devon,

I’m very glad the surgery went well. Get home and get well. You have a lot of things to do my young friend! I am really pleased that this is sounding good. Get a little rest, Devon.

Dennis

Glad to hear you are improving. Although anything draining from Devon’s head is a cause for national concern…I will alert the proper authorities. Whom ever they may be.

Good to hear the news. Devon… (http://www.largescalecentral.com/externals/tinymce/plugins/emoticons/img/smiley-smile.gif)(http://www.largescalecentral.com/externals/tinymce/plugins/emoticons/img/smiley-laughing.gif)

Good news Devon. Your headache is common…remember they drilled a hole in your skull for the shunt. You are probably bandaged pretty well tonight, so you probably can’t feel the titanium disk covering the hole yet. But you should be able to feel the shunt (NOT the catheter!) and “plumbing” just under the skin. It’s a little disconcerting when you first feel this, but you get used to it. When you do get the bandages removed, I would be interested to know how you like your surgery “haircut” :). Mine wasn’t real great :)!

Rest up and enjoy your “new life” with your shunt. It definitely changed mine for the better. Get better real quick.

Your “other shunt Buddy”.
