Large Scale Central

Our Devon Sinsley needs your prayers.

Sounds like you need to have a bleeder screw put in Devon…(http://largescalecentral.com/externals/tinymce/plugins/emoticons/img/smiley-tongue-out.gif)

Seriously, hope you find your way thru this soon.

Thats basically what they do.

Well being my own advocate I did some research. I found a few studies that find a correlation between Vitamin A and Intracranial Pressure. Because of my gastric bypass surgery I am taking a double dose of daily vitamin, which means I am taking a double dose of Vitamin A. I called my neurologist and he said Vitamin A is toxic in high doses and he believes definitely can cause high intracranial pressure. So he is having me reduce my daily vitamin intake to a single dose and see what happens. If it turns out to be as simple as this, then he will refer me to the nutritionist and we will work up a safe vitamin regimen. Lets pray this is it. We are still proceeding with the surgery in case this doesn’t work.

Amen to that!

Sometimes it can be just that simple. I cut Aspartame (NutraSweet) out of my diet, and I quit having screaming migraine headaches. So here is to hoping that its as simple as a minor adjustment to your vitamins.

That would be great if it turns out to be such a simple fix!

Migraines are interesting, they can be triggered by different foods in different people. Cris’ mom couldn’t have chocolate. Even the tiniest bit would give her horrible migraines. Our daughter has migraines too but has no trouble with chocolate – something for which she is very thankful!l

Devon Buddy…How are you doing ???

Hanging in there guys. Still waiting to get some relief. Nothing has worked to date. Hoping on the shunt. I see the Neurosurgeon on the 9th. Went to the doc on Tuesday and still showing a slight worsening but really about the same. Been wood working when I feel up to it.

Hi, Devon!
Good to hear from ya.

Devon, thanks for posting. I’m sad to hear that nothing has relieved the pain; but I pray that the 11/9 visit leads to solutions.

God bless you,

Cliff

RevDev,

I could say the same about you too. And no worries on the build challenge. I don’t think death would be enough incentive to stay away.

Still praying for you, Devon!

Well I get my head replumbed on the 15th. A VP shunt which runs from the center of my brain out the top down my head and spine and into my abdomen with a pop off valve.

Dang it good Buddy, that’s rough. I hope you don’t loose all your hot air!(https://www.largescalecentral.com/externals/tinymce/plugins/emoticons/img/smiley-wink.gif)

So your basically going to be a steam locomotive than… While the docs are in there, you might as well have them install a steam whistle, so every time you fart, you can “blow for a grade crossing”.

Glad everything is starting to look normalish again.

Makes sense to me. Hang in there. We’re all pulling for you!

All the best Devon!
