Doing real good. The pain is down to the point today that I am stopping the narcotics. They have me plugged up tight. Called the nurse yesterday and they had me get some magnesium citrate and things are moving again. But very little pain. Some tenderness here and there. I itch like crazy so that’s good I’m healing. And the best part is I have no head ache. I even think my vision is responding. So all in all I am great. I am taking it real slow not pushing myself. But today I got up and went out on the town.

Hey guys doing well. The shunt is working as advertised. I have some post op discomfort but am now only on Tylenol for it instead of the hard stuff. So things are improving well. About the only thing still buggy is my eyes and they said that could be awhile.

I have not been thinking about my layout at all. I have been using my two week vacation to organize my shop and make some Christmas presents. I sold all my shop benches and am making a new one and putting in a bunch of storage. Basically my benches were storage. Now they should be benches. I have several wood projects that need done before the challenge starts

I have mixed news.

During Devon’s recent abduction (he’s been saying it was a hospital stay, but the popcorn hat was a dead giveaway; I expect most of you are aware of that), certain alien games were played. Not very fun for Devon, but that’ll teach you Dev, I expect. Anyway. for better or worse, Devon was “The Jackpot” in a certain round of alien poker. It’s a long story; but, as I understand things, when everything settled down, even Captain Kirk needed to express his enthusiasm.

Not sure how all this plays out. I’m just trying to do my job, wear the foil hat, and pay it forward.
