No trains, but I did get a lot of lights put up this year. Here’s a brief video:

I would like to make a lighted “train” display, but didn’t have time to do it year. I hope to have it ready next year.

I’m saving electricity…no lights, but instead, I invite the neighbours in for a glass or three of cheer…we all sit around the fireplace and exchange greetings, cheer and great feelings…Lights may light up the night, but personal contact, and good feelings, warm up the heart, and last all year, day and night.
Of course, I have great neighbours, and long term relationships that have been built over the years…we all give a little towards our good relationship.

Our lights are on one of our neighbor’s house, as I willed them to him last year. My ladder-climbing days are over (one shattered heel surgery per lifetime is enough) and as much fun as it is to put 'em up, it’s a chore to take ‘em down. Many of our neighbors’ home look great, though, and I can see them from the comfort of my living room.
Oops, forgot to say, “Yer lights look great, Ray. Man, you are one busy elf! Merry Christmas to you and Cris.”

Yeah, it’s never as much fun putting them away, as it is putting them up. But next year I’d like to do more. I only put up about half the lights we have, this year.
