New medical rules…we will have to amputate. Cheaper than drilling the nail to relieve pressure and antibiotics. Chop! Stich (just one…two too expensive) vinegar for antibiotic and you are done. Go to the back of the line. You are not a priority.

OK you weenie, here’s the solution! Take your pinvise with a small drill, drill a hole in the nail and the pressure will be relieved.
As an alternate, say a prayer and wait for it to take hold!

My preferred method, and the one I used, is to heat the end of a paper clip to red hot, then use the red hot end to melt through the nail. It is quick and painless, but looks barbaric. I learned it as a young hospital corpsman taking care of Marines.
It can be kind of messy if the blood pool is big enough. :lol:
