My great grandfather and great-great grandfather both fought in the Kyber Pass, during their “peaceful” tours of duty in Afghanistan with the 70th Regiment of Foot. It is doubtful that they met Errol Flynn, though.
There are times when I think we should stay home and mind our own netting! I would we have gained since 1946 with all our war activity? Except more Cemeterys!
