Hmm, interesting fellow.
He was hilarious in those spoof movies. My favorites were “Airplane” and “Naked Gun 2 and 1/2”.
They are great movies.

I love those movies. Loved the “Naked Gun” TV series, always felt it got short shrifted being cancelled after only 8 shows.
Heres from one of my favorite Neilson movies, Wrongfully Accused with the best parody of “the Fugitive” trainwreck scene, where just because you jump off the bus doesnt mean your safe…just watch-its a hoot.
Man, “Forbidden Planet” was great… one of his first flicks. But most people don’t recognize him in it.
He really was pretty darn funny in his comedies!
