Tim,
You certainly don’t need to be told about your great computer skills, but you did a really fine job of showing Dave’s railroad. Thank you for sharing your fun.
Great photos Tim. You are most fortunate to live close to one of the best outdoor railroads in the country.
Timmy,
I can see the bunch of thumbnails and they enlarge when you click on them.
I can also see the small “video” file and the pix scroll through OK but they are a bit pixellated.
I can also download the bigger “video” file but after the very first pic, which is quite clear, all I get is a blank screen with music still playing.
Any ideas for this not so computer savvy neophyte to see them please.
Excellant pix and video…!!

All the images including the clicked on larger ones and both videos are functioning perfectly. The problem you are experiencing is on your local end.
Either:
- Your screen resolution needs to be adjusted
- Your internet connection is flaking out
- Your computer video card cannot handle the display
- Your computer does not have enough resources available to display correctly
I may be wrong, but the first time I went to the site, I saw the thumbnails, but clicking on them did nothing.
Then I noticed that I was not logged in (said I was logged in as guest)
I then logged in and clicking the thumbnails worked.
Regards, Greg

Clicking on the thumbnails has nothing to do with being logged in as the pictures including thumbnails and videos are all hosted on my server, not largescalecentral.com
Nice lot of pictures Timmy…
That’s great Tim.Loved the vidoe. Now I have a better perspective of Dave’s layout. Nice Trestle ! Who’s logging cars are those, what kind are they ? Did that opening shot mean six more weeks of winter ?
Thanks, Bryan
Which logging cars?
I have…3 of the LGB disconnects, two of the old LGB green skeleton-style, and 7 old Bachmann flats.
A real eclectic mix.
Tried to do it like the logging outfits around here did it, whatever they could slap together.
That makes 12, three sets of 4. The waybills call for 4 empties to be moved to HighPoint, and 4 loads to be brought back and emptied at the log dump.
When it gets REAL busy we can have two log trains on the line and enough cars.
We posed that shadow shot, godalmighty I hurt my back doing that, still hurts…
They were the empty green ones. What do you suggest for buying some cars for my Ely Thomas Shay Dave ? Without spending a bundle ! Yeah I figured you staging that shot !

Dave,
Read about your operating sessions but never saw exactly what kind of: cardorder, switchlist, etc that you employ. How about explaining it to us that are really interested. Like I’ve said before, my HO layout used the color coded index cards as waybills but on the outside railroad I 1st used color-coded tacks but not really satisfied with that form, any suggestions? Layout is operated as a “shortline”, is point to point having 4 small towns plus a gravel pit and woodpulp loading facility (only one industry currently actually has a bldg) totalling 17 industries & 2 interchanges.
