The other day while at Home Depot picking up supplies - more irrigation projects - I was just leaving when the young man wrangling the shopping carts knocks on the window. “I really like your bumper sticker”. Turns out he’s another railfan.
Yep, one meets them all over. 
I was in a bit of a hurry that day, but I handed him one of my cards today.
When they were passing out brains, I thought they said trains, and I got on the wrong siding.

All things considered it sure beats sitting at home in front of the boob tube, and/or the computer screen, with too much time on one’s hands.

Hans…No, Hans…sit…obey…It is the dog taking YOU for a walk…a lot of dogs would be just as content to stay in and enjoy another dog bone and a bit of petting…!!
True, but Raven is different. She knows when it’s time for a walk. If her collar and leash weren’t tucked away, she’d get them. This way she just nudges me with her snout, “Hey man, time for a walk”.
