Always cracks me up when I get phishing emails that claim to be from the IRS or some such, yet have a hotmail return address and are full of glaring spelling errors.
Ray, yes the spelling errors are actually funny. I mean, I am supposed to believe this came form the IRS, World bank, FBI, or whatever and they cant even afford a free spell checker?
But the real give away for me is that these emails are never addressed to me by name. If they were legit, they would at least know my name.

The phone number is in Tongo Ghana, and the email came from a gmail address but reply is to an outlook address. Must be a mighty poor lawyer to have to use Gmail.

The really irritating thing about these idiots is they live in poor conditions yet manage to get a computer, donated no doubt by the West as aid to the “emerging nations”.
The computer is one of the few things the local president can’t stuff into his Swiss bank account . So some minion/sycophant gets it .

Had my first phone scammer of the day at 0830 this morning.
He was told to go forth and multiply…
He shouldn’t have picked Monday morning should he ? A bit daft that .
Mind you , I get some fun by keeping them on the phone , playing the interested buyer , then laughing and then telling them to goforth , etc…
That actually stopped one regular ambulance chaser , I did it twice before he said he wouldn’t offer to help any more . So I said “Oh dear , how sad , never mind”
