One hour's work

On another site, one fellow claimed that he had started with this,

and after one hour’s work, he produced this.

We have been challenged, gentlemen. :stuck_out_tongue:

Er, what?

Methinks, that I’ll stick with a good bottle of Merlot, and a warm place in the sun, and let others figure out what actually is happening…

Humor, gents.

Pass the Merlot, please, Fr. Fred. :stuck_out_tongue:

I think I’m missing the humor here…

i think steve mixed up the pics.
they started with what is shown in the bigger pic and after some work they had the situation of the smaller pic…

To me I think Steve is yanking our chain abit. The first pic appears to have no tie plates under the rails and the second one does. And the spikes don’t match up as well.

Nor does the convergence of the rails, and they’re on two separate websites. Still don’t get the humor…

Locating the vanishing point

The simple answer: Photoshop…

Greg

(yes I know they are not the same picture)

Sigh…

yeah... life is hard for stranded sailors! those landlubbers don't recognize a good story...

So he started with a NG thru wasteland and finished with a SG thru Eden.
I get it!
Not…

Steve, get started on your layou, OK?
We need a place to run later this year.

For those familiar with the expressions of Victor Meldrew: “I don’t believe it!”

John, with Glow Ball War Ming finally arriving here in beautiful downtown Deer Park, I finally found my track. Only one switch was damaged, and that has been repaired.

I have a few more in the shop awaiting final touches.

I should be ready… later…

Ignore they who scoff , Steve , it looks feasible to me .
Do you happen to know the name of the landscaping company ?
I have weeds that size in my garden , and want them tastefully sculpted .

Thank you, Mike.

It’s nice to know that one or two here have a sense of humor… :stuck_out_tongue:

BTW, how are you? I haven’t seen hide nor hair of you in a long time. It’s good to see you back.

I’m OK , my friend . Been busy making things and damaging myself as usual . I reckon if I can make a carriage with only three stitchable wounds , I’m doing well .
Nice of you to welcome me back , I keep an eye on the site and jump in for a laugh or two when it looks a bit humourless .
So , as Spring is sprung , and the weather is tolerable , I shall try a bit of outdoor building not unlike that on your before and after photos , and pop back here to see where I am going wrong . As if .

keep well ,

Mike

Does not one realize the effects of Kudzu? You can actually see it growing. I think that’s what he used.
