Keyfob camera was on top of the work car behind my shay for one circuit of my layout. At the end is a outside view, shows the plumes and oscillating cylinders real well. Nice early morning run. Shay ran like clockwork, as usual. This was the first run since I tightened up the trucks, had loosened since I made it 14 years ago.

I wrote an article on it for Steam in the GArden, long time ago. Quite a few pix of the build are on my website. Was not a real biggie. Used a Roundhouse boiler, Mike Chaney whipped up the motor from two of his oscillators. Made the cab out of wood. Frame from 1/2" brass bar. I did make the trucks with my drill press and files. Bought the gears from Chicago Gear. Did make my own u-joints also. DId have to tighten up the trucks, but it ran fine on this latest run, as you saw. I thought I had tightened them up too much but it was fine.

Great video and beautiful layout. Is that the key fob camera sitting on top of that trailing car? I think I need one. I remember you reporting on it but forget where you got it. Can you tell me.
