Older version Aristo-Craft TE

HELP I have an older version of the Aristo Craft TE wireless with he track 1 and track receiver. The fuse is in the inside rather then the outside, Ok so I got the circuit broad out and looking at the fuse and it’s a 20 amp fuse is this correct, plus it was solid unto the circuit board, Do I replace with a 20 amp fuse or should it be 10 amp fuse, and will I have a hard time putting this circuit broad back in.

Also to all you new beginners, Read carefully, listen, look, lots of research, I’ve learned the expensive way, and SHORTS CUT ONLY TAKE LONGER. these guys are RIGHT. and I thank all of YOU

The receiver with the metal case I own had a 10 amp fuse inside. However that unit would only supply 4 amps to the track and a 4 amp fuse on the output is what I would use.

My unit starts to lower the output voltage at 3.5 amps and at 4 amps only outputs half the supply voltage.

And keep the case intact as it is the heat sink for the transistors. Newer receivers use mosfets and have less heat and do not need a metal case.
