From a Fellow on ACMRR.org looking for some help-anyone? Hi— I’m trying to find info on a couple of old sound boards for a friend. Specs, schematics or other wiring info is needed. We don’t know if they work. No names or part numbers on them. Because of their similarity I suspect they were made by the same company, but which one? Both have a 2 pin header of each side of the board, same style lettering, and same style of trace layout. The text on one says “whistle sound-A 96,7,31 solder” the number likely being a date. The other says “solder 1995,03,30”. Here pictures of the tops and bottoms of the boards.
I have googled and searched forums for quite a while with no success. Drawing a schematic from the board may help but will take quite a while and that won’t necessarily tell me voltages needed. I posted this on the Model Railroader forum last month but got no responses. Can anyone identify either of these or give me some other guidance on where to look for info on them? Thanks, paul
