A older railroader I know gave me these pictures. He, his father and grandfather worked on the railroad. He was not specific as to which ones. I thought you’d like to see them.
Denver and Rio Grande about 1928

Thanks for taking the time to post them, Jerry.

Looks like Engine 35 was on semi-permanent display. Wonder if it’s still around somewhere…
Thanks for the pix.

Seems most were D&RG but that Ghostdepot.com’s older listings are only available on DVD to buy. If anyone has that might see if #35 belonged to them.
Great photos Jerry. Thanks
nice pics Jerry. Thanks
Good Stuff Jerry!
Thank you for sharing.
Neat pics! That 4-4-0 is a real beauty.
Thanks guys. Turns out that #35 was D&RG in the 1880’s.
Great images Jerry! Looking at #35, I am taken at how clean it was! You can see reflections in the paint on the sand and steam domes. Speaks of the pride railroaders used to take in their profession. Not like the filthy equipment we use today!
You’re right! I much enjoyed seeing those.
