DO NOT CUT THE “blue” wire!
Dibs on the blue smoke!
I need some to put back in mine. (https://www.largescalecentral.com/externals/tinymce/plugins/emoticons/img/smiley-wink.gif)
It’s a LocoLink receiver and a sound card.

Rooster, I have watched a lot of movies, I know better than to cut the blue wire, or the red wire, or the yellow wire or the green wire or the any other wire.

Tod, is that a LocoLinc sound system card??
Looks like a Bachmann sound card to me.
As Tony said the left hand side looks like a Bachmann sound card to me as well.
Basic sound with sandpaper type sound and hiss when stopped if the cam contacts are closed.
I cloned mine for a couple of locos but not real good.
This may give a circuit diagram if you ever want to use it.

I was planning on using mine as a sound effect in a sawmill.
Tony and Graeme, thanks for the sound card ID. As soon as I read Tony’s post I thought “of course it is” I have 2-3 of them laying in the junk box, errr I mean parts bin.
Todd, thanks for the receiver ID.
Now does anybody need a LocoLinc receiver?
