We shall see…
A bit of Forney-cating?
Yeah, I used the same basis. I have since changed the way too big cylinders.
Update pic More to come…
FINISHED!!!
No weathering on this one, I like it shiny[;)] Just need to get some coal to add to the bunker [:D] Got two NENG trolley kits for coaches for it to pull[;)]
I just hope the Ventilators don’t find this thread.
If that isn’t “LGB Bashing”, I don’t know what is.
Certainly an improvement over the original(s).
Can’t wait to see what you do with KGB stuff.
Vic,
there is a brilliant video on You-tube of the loco that inspired your creation. It seems for the eight or so hours of the trip, that two men stand on the pilot spreading sand on the rails for traction and another worker sits atop the coal bunker breaking the coal into smaller pieces enroute. Labour must be cheaper than an automated sander or a coal crusher.
Hallo, this is earthlink support.
My name is Pollana.
I am in Inida.
My job prior to this was head sand spreader on the front beam of the steam engine.
I fix your problems now.
I am most qualified.
I hear the phone “green green”, I “pink” up the phone and I say “Yellow”
Victor,
Neat stuff. You need to put all of your creations in one picture!
Well done.
Vic,
Let me know when you’re in the market for some nice R1 curves and switches.

I’ve thought of that, and the thought makes me shudder at moving it all, organizing it all into one pic, then putting it all back!
