edited to say page 4, and post # 800 Mr Rooster!

OK I have been stewing on this all week . First off MANY THANKS to Dave for putting it all together again. Also many thanks to the entrants as they were all fantastic this year and I enjoyed watching them all progress…

Now like Dave Marconi I struggled with choosing a top 3 to pick from. SO in the Spirit Of Mik this was the solution I came up with. I decided to do a lottery type vote. There were 15 entries with build logs finished or not which were all up for voting. So thinking like Mik I went to the couch and lifted up the cushions so see if I could scrounge up 15 pieces of change (which I did)! I then wrote the numbers 1 thru 15 on each coin following the sequence they were listed in the voting thread. Now since Mik liked to build on his washer and dryer (which I could not as mine are front loading) I decided that I can certainly use mine as a raffle drum for his build contest. I reached in and pulled out 1st through 3rd in that order. Below are the results.

1st place #13…Devon Sinsley

2nd place #1…Vic Smith

3rd place #12…Jim Rowson

and the other coins? did you leave them in the washer as a surprise for your wife?

Rooster, Rooster, you really got only 99 cents per dollar… (http://www.largescalecentral.com/externals/tinymce/plugins/emoticons/img/smiley-wink.gif)

I demand a recount, or is it a re-tumble?

John Ivanov Passaro…I was originally thinking to leave out one of the contestants as their build was not finished. HOWEVER the RULES clearly state “Finished or NOT”. Well you do the math but you would have beat out Devon and Jim would have gotten the shaft. However rules are rules!

Hehe…honestly with the Mik inspired lottery Vic is the only 1 that wouldn’t get screwed either way. Should have posted your entry for voting first!

Wow I never win raffles.

Well you just did and John is pissed off!

Not sure if you were around for any of MIK’s LSC posts to clearly understand what I have done.

Either way it’s all good and the amount of quality builds this year topped last year. My opinion only after re-reading it twice as suggested by the masters.

I thought I saw some hanging chads in that tumbler …

Rooster, are you cooking your goose or what?

My wife would have tied me to the tracks and ran full steam ahead if I did that with her new dryer and then backed up to see if I was still breathing… (http://largescalecentral.com/externals/tinymce/plugins/emoticons/img/smiley-tongue-out.gif)(http://largescalecentral.com/externals/tinymce/plugins/emoticons/img/smiley-laughing.gif)

VOTING IS OFFICIALLY CLOSED!

Winners announced tomorrow!

Strange, I still keep getting votes from the Ukraine!

It is the Russian words that are giving it away!

So you voted absentee ballot for the Mik Build Challenge then Michael ??

Yeah, I already sent my vote in to Dave. Thanks for asking, Rooster.

Are we still voting in this thread or the other thread Dave started ?

I’m confused and that is easy to do!

Yes, you can vote for me right here. Hurry, though; I’m expecting a landslide of votes from my Russian, er, LSC friends any minute now.

Mr. Passaro

The RBI “Rooster Bureau of Investigation” is currently looking into the absentee voters

FYI: Any mail in ballots that contained $5 cash were counted, those with $10 cash were counted twice. I did not validate the post mark, but I did save the CCCP stamps for a collector friend.
