Off Topic: Yachting Tragedy: LSC Member's Involvement?

Here is a link to a story summarizing the recent yacht racing tragedy off the San Francisco coast where 1 person drowned and 4 are missing at sea:

The second page of the story reports on a ‘Michael Moradzadeh,’ who sailed in the race and is credited with calling in the emergency. Is this LSC’s Michael Moradzadeh? I do know that Michael lives in the North SF Bay town of Tiburon, where many are involved in boats and boating.

Yeah, that was me. Not the best day on the water, to say the least.

The sailing community is scrambling in all directions to respond, but cool heads are prevailing to take the incident as a reminder to strengthen safety practices.
