Odd Switches, anybody know?

I got some code 250 switches from Stan Cedarleaf a couple of years ago. Homemade ones he had gotten from someone in Arizona that made them, but I guess gave up on GR. The base is some sort of cut/or routed epoxy boards. Darned hard stuff. Anyone seen anything like it before? Here’s a top/bottom shot.

Here’s a top view of two. I had to make the points for them, only one had them. Unusual switches, curves/etc. I think they are pretty neat.

Is it like the stuff they use for printed circuit boards?

Brian,
They are pretty thick, bit over 1/4". You can see, from the side, they are built up in layers. Smooth top with a material looking grid texture.

Hand laminated fiberglass ??

Sounds like it might be linen phenolic.

Auto body filler? Smash repair shops (i.e., panel beaters) use this stuff, and it sets rock-solid.

Ray,
I think you are right, I looked it up on the internet search. thanks!
