Ocean City MD : Anything train worthy around ?

I’m on my way this weekend to Ocean City MD to see the 46th Annual Ward World Championship
Wildfowl Carving Competition .

My brother is pretty good at carving but not like this.

Is there any train related things to do there?

Thanks for any info.

Sean

We were there last summer, and I recall checking around. No actual trains, but I thought there was a hobby/train store up near Fenwick Island. Couldn’t find it on Google.

Thanks

I know Star Hobbies is near but to far of our route. (http://www.largescalecentral.com/externals/tinymce/plugins/emoticons/img/smiley-frown.gif)

Oh come visit Annapolis, yes it is a flyer but great time of year and FWIW, Star Hobby is 2 minutes west of the Bay Bridge

Regarding 1:1 trains, the Maryland and Delaware RR runs occasional trains on their three sections of track, not very often, but perhaps a trip to one of their yards or parking areas to see really vintage locomotives (RS-3) would be worth it

And NS runs it “famous” rock train down the Delmarva on a regular schedule, there was an article on it a few years (?) ago in Trains mag

Have a good time
