Numbering Yard Tracks

Thanks Matthew -

More good ideas  I especially like your treatment of the loop as a lead, rather than a loop. Just so happens there is a connection to allow reversing.

I’ll see what I can google up for “Maromas” CT

JR

Maromas is the town at the very northern end of what is now the Valley Railroad Co’s trackage (or if you prefer, the very southern end of the P&W’s trackage… they actually had to use some VRR track to get into Pratt at one point.) Or, at least it was once. It had streets and buildings, and a railroad station.

Then, one day it disappeared. Buildings razed to the foundations. Streets dug up or left to ruin. In essence, it was wiped from the map.

Nowadays, it’s pretty overgrown, but there are still some suspiciously dangerous looking pipes painted orange sticking out of the ground here and there… and if you try to explore the area, you’ll find that the Pratt and Whitney folks have a lot of questions about what you were doing inside the fence.

Anyone ever read “Tom Swift and his Atomic Jet?”
