In American terms I 'spose I live near Trenk-on-Stote - about 140 miles or so. But it might as well be in a different country.

Have a look on google Earth at Stenk-on-Trote and you’ll see what I mean.
I lve in East Anglia - about as far as it is possible to be away and still in the same country. I’m nearer to Belgium than I am to Troke-on-Stent.

The misses has a subscription to Ancestry.com, however we have found some information that is vague so we are hesitant to include it in our tree just yet. We have gotten back to the mid 1700’s on our own. The misses has also been gamefully unemployed for the last 16 months or so, so budgets are getting a might tight. Was hoping someone lived close enough to possibly confirm a bit.
I can understand the hesitation when confronted with what appears to be at least a 2 hr (for Alec) and probably 4 plus for Tac trip.
I greatly appreciate your responses. I might try the GSC site. I am am member, but due to the heavy ‘Red Box’ flavor (flavour 
) I don’t frequent or post that often.
