Well Joe, actually that IS considered running in top form, it is from 1911 after all (http://www.largescalecentral.com/externals/tinymce/plugins/emoticons/img/smiley-surprised.gif)

BTW… top speed 134mph and 290hp

BTW BTW thats an in-line 4 -banger…a 28.5 liter 4 banger !!!

OK if you say so.

For a first outing, though, its not too bad. Put the exhaust pipe on for some back pressure, give it a thorough tune, and stand by. (http://largescalecentral.com/externals/tinymce/plugins/emoticons/img/smiley-laughing.gif)

From what I read they kept the exhausts system off because historically it supposedly ran slighty better with it OFF. They do plan to restore the exhaust system (it looked more like an industrial sewer than an exhaust manifold) though, as without it, the shear violence of the noise would wake people up…in Belgium!

Heres another short video of the frame up restoration, and the very first time in a century that the ‘beast’ was fired up

Well, after that, I HAD to watch Jeremy Clarkson with “Brutus,” which has a 48 liter bomber engine.
