Greg

Sorry Greg…saw it referenced on your site first…which is why I have it.

Here a YouTube video 3.5 minutes…

Good durable smoke unit, using HSmoke in my Bmann k27 for a year, had to separate the fan unit and locate it further back in the boiler, used a thin aluminum tube to connect fan and unit again, when full unit will smoke for ca 40 minutes! Thinking of building a double acting cylinder(1/2 inch )with a piston timed in synch with the wheel revolution(simular like the lionelsmoke unit)to get some kind of timed chuff/smoke outputt.

Welcome, Manfred.
40 minute of run time would be excellent
Ralph

Power the fan via a reed switch and 4 magnets on a drive wheel.

The smoke unit would need constant power.

TA Studios made the Puff and Chuff, before they were bought out by Lionel. Similar design.

Now if they could make it dark gray…

That’s the plan Steve…the reed switch and magnets are already in place…just wanted to make sure it “smoked” as expected first.
