Now that's weird:

http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage/news/2764647/Spiral-UFO-puts-Norway-in-a-spin.html

Ruskie rocket launch gone bad, Ruskies of course are going to deny any involvmentm especially if it was an secret spy satellite that went screwy, upper stage booster or control jet get goes iffy or a fuel tank leaks and starts spinning the satellite…of course it could also be a US spy satellite going foom, stuff happens and theres no little green men involved.

“If you see it in the Sun, it’s so.”

No wait, that was the BALTIMORE Sun…

Yes, Virginia, they’re nuts…

It’s just swamp gas.

Because it was the Greys.

Whatever it was, it is real and not a tabloid fantasy.
It is now showing up on legitimate news sites.
Now if Geoff George could just figure out how to duplicate it for his Christmas
light show…
Ralph

Perhaps this is the hole in the ozone, and for some reason it has become visible. The spiral motion is the atmosphere being sucked through the hole like water down a drain :o

Somebody’s Christmas lights gone wrong

Or maybe we’ll see “how I did it” in hackaday.com or evilmadscientist.com.

And, it’s official: http://www.foxnews.com/scitech/2009/12/10/norway-ufo-control-russian-rocket/?test=latestnews

Alas, no greens, grays or even Christmas lights.

Toldya…Ruskie rocket going foom!

Given the polar location I figured it was a spy satellite going up, not a ballistic missle test. Spy satellites always use polar orbits so they can cover the entire earth’s surface.

So The Sun told (a version of) the truth this time? What’s next? Weekly Weird, err World News will become as trustworthy as Fox? No, wait! The White House already say it is… or was that the other way around? Hmmmm.

“All the news that’s print to fit” hehehe
