After some time raking it was time to run some trains!
Another great video Eric. Nice to see the boat and hand car.(http://www.largescalecentral.com/externals/tinymce/plugins/emoticons/img/smiley-cool.gif)
Great video Eric and I love that handcar. Im surprised you didn’t get the snow.
What video editor do you use? Im trying to find a new one because windows live movie maker is not compatible with the new windows version.
Hey shawn…I’m still using Windows movie maker live, with Windows 10. works fine (fingers crossed) snow or mixed precipitation is predicted for the higher altitudes west of here, down on the coast heremail is still moderated by warm (ish) sea water. just rained her today.
Good stuff! Your handcar steals the show.

Agreed. The handcar is really something. Really like all of the realism in this video. Very nice presentation.
Thanks for the kind words! anyone spot George our young cat watching the train pass? I didn’t until someone pointed him out! oh and Shawn, yes we did have some snow this morning…guess we are 4-500 miles behind you!
Early in the month I was in Annapolis teaching “Build your own kayak” classes at Chesapeake Light Craft and would go over to Jerry’s place a mile of so from the shop afterwards.
Hi Eric
Nice video. It is always a pleasure for you to visit the Spa Creek and McKendree Railroad. Great fun running steam with you.
See you the next time
Jerry

Good to know. Ill have to try it with the 10. I read that it was not compatible on the Microsoft forums, so I never bothered to try it. Grrrr last time I listen to the web.

Next time your close to me you have to test out my new layout. Now that the curves are bigger this time around.

Photoshop elements 4 is also “not compatible with 10”, it works fine for me, as does Microsoft Office 2000. I also a have a windows 98 CD player program that works on 10, although the one menu function acts a bit goofy sometimes. So just because someone said so on the internet, does not make it true. Its strange my live windows movie maker under windows 8 would work fine then all of sudden it would freeze. After reading they said it was a compatibility issue. I just wish they would keep things the same and stop messing with this stuff. Windows XP was the best and worked with everything.
I think I just downloaded the windows movie maker live from Microsoft no charge. I had been on widows 7 until I woke up one morning to find it had been upgraded! it all seems to work OK though .

I wish the same thing. But programmers and designers have this overwhelming compulsion to add “features” and to fix what isn’t broken. Yea, the way windows fade in and out is cool, for the first 10 seconds. But I don’t care about cool. I care about stuff working without freezing, pausing for no reason and crashing.
Great videos Eric, What will the penalty be for George if he attacks a train, I am guessing section man John would be the most likely candidate due to no bad noises to alarm George, such as whistles etc…
