Was a long day indeed, though not directly for me.
I got back to the motel last night and found the place 1/3 burned down. I found the owner, “We had a fire, you have to find someplace else to live.” My room was uneffected, but I grabbed a few things I’d need and stayed someplace else last night. This morning there is power and heat in my room but no water.
Aparently a plumber accidently set something on fire and it got into the roof. Couldn’t find the owner this morning, he might be sleeping in. I wouldn’t blame him.
OOOK Thats beats my 14 hour shift! At least I got OT…
