Large Scale Central

Not really off-topic, but what if

Okay.
With the sudden re-appearance of The Master of Deception, and the re-introduction of the gear ratio discussion (if you can call it that), the question comes up (for inquisitive types, anyway), why?

Why after said locomotive has been out for one year?
Why now, as we await (or some of us do) the “next” one?

Okay, hypothesize.

Maybe The Master is in trouble with his buddies, and is required to redeem himself to the masses, and hence to the Phine Pholks at Philly.

Maybe it’s a personal matter, to try to prove to all his involvement in the development did not produce anything “wrong”.

But, what if it’s a diversionary tactic?

What if this is to divert all attention from the next issue?

What if they don’t want anyone to look too hard, at least until it hits the shelves and pre-orders are filled?

What is it he doesn’t want us to see?

Just hypothesis, mind you.

Simmer down, Dave. It’s ok. Not a matter of life and death.

Hi Dave,
Go over to the One Twenty Point Me site and read the comments on the Bashman Trains paragraph. About 2/3rds down the page. You may get a chuckle out of it. You are not alone. Me? Not a sparky, live steam for me, but I am still interested in all things considered.
N

Noel- Just read it.
Pretty funny.
Torby- No problem here. One of those things that just comes to you…the clouds part, the light shines, you know.

But, I am long since fed up with Stanley, his particular brand of bullshit, Prima Donas in general, in filly in particular.

Right about the time I want to do an expansion, I am looking at doing the opposite.

Stanley has, in fact, shown me where he and Bochman wants to go with LS, I ain’t interested, so…

I am considering a gauge of 2.063", with a specific flange and back-to-back, with a scale that will be all new, so I can tell the enema ray and ames to shove all their crap back up their rectal cavity.

I think I’ll go work on a Jag this morning.

Starting to get a glimmer of clarity.
See the post on Stanley being listed as Technical Adviser on the Liver Spot?

Noel,

Can you put a link to that? I don’t know where you are talking about.

http://120pointme.blogspot.com/

Victor,

Thank you for the link. I had been there before, because it was saved in my favorites. Obviously I don’t go there much. It pointed me to something posted on December 10th. Is that the latest update? I look at LSC through out the day seeing what was stated last hour, not last Wednesday.

December 10th - that was a Wednesday.

Victor, I do thank you, I just thought it was something new that I wasn’t seeing or missed, again ;-).

Yoy need to go to the bottom of each new “update” and look at “comments”.
If not “zero”, click on “coments” and it will open.

Those “comments” links are hard to spot, being very tiny and light gray in color!
