Okay.
With the sudden re-appearance of The Master of Deception, and the re-introduction of the gear ratio discussion (if you can call it that), the question comes up (for inquisitive types, anyway), why?
Why after said locomotive has been out for one year?
Why now, as we await (or some of us do) the “next” one?
Okay, hypothesize.
Maybe The Master is in trouble with his buddies, and is required to redeem himself to the masses, and hence to the Phine Pholks at Philly.
Maybe it’s a personal matter, to try to prove to all his involvement in the development did not produce anything “wrong”.
But, what if it’s a diversionary tactic?
What if this is to divert all attention from the next issue?
What if they don’t want anyone to look too hard, at least until it hits the shelves and pre-orders are filled?
What is it he doesn’t want us to see?
Just hypothesis, mind you.
