NOT NEW TO LARGE SCALE

My question is: Did you realign the trackwork into the yard?? the 2 track leads on the left side show totally different between the 2 pictures…

Are you hand laying everything?
I'll try to gatch up answering a few questions. First, thanks Jon. ------------Now, Hand laying? Only where I have to! We have about 150ft of hidden track and it is "left over" 332 brass (Aristo, I think). All the visible rail is aluminum. The main line and the 6 switches on it are 332. This is hand laid. All the rest is code 250, recycled Sunset Valley including 12 SV switch kits. All this 250 was pulled off the former "Miami" layout for reuse here. The other 2 code 250 switches are hand laid. 20 switches, total. All have Sunset Valley, brass ground throws.

That wintery-looking, bare-tree scenery... You don't often see that time of year modelled at all
John, my other hobby is landscape painting and especially winter scenes. Also, I was inspired by the beautyful work Mike Confalone does. BTW, thanks John, but it's mostly "smoke and mirrors".

Andy, don't know what we are seeing here. Does look different but I didn't realign anything. The main is an inch or so higher... Tom's view is very low while the in progress shot is overhead ???

I’ve been working on the branch line overpass and the corner of River St and Mohawk St (same area). Here’s a view of how it’s comming along.

Great stuff, looks like the real thing!! Regal

That last picture is amazing. Nothing “toy like” at all in that shot of great motive power. Way to go!!!
