Neat!
Although I am not sure I needed more to do online.
The comments and then suggested videos after it ended could lead to MUCH more online time.
WOW, wicked cool…
It took 2 of them steam traction engines to move that low boy with the crawler on it. That shows how little horsepower them things have, even though they are really, really cool.
But, ah, why were they driving on the wrong side of the road?
Uh, not really low-powered. That load weighs around 24 tons, and the road locomotives are limited, by law, to a maximum speed of 7mph - 4 in town. Hence the rather jerky motion around what is really a VERY tight traffic circle.
There are three such traction engines in our village - I’ve driven the Garratt, ‘Bluebell’ in the past, and hope to do so again next year at the local steam rally, where we had almost 200 such vehicles over the weekend, as well as lumber mills and threshers…ALL steam-driven, of course.
None of your infernal combustible engines there, y’know.

It is well known by film and TV makers in the UK that you can find a vehicle (Horse, Ox drawn or motorized) for almost any use for any situation or historic era rather easily by making a few calls on the phone.
That’s why most historic films and TV shows produced in the UK have a era-cprrect look; the exterior scenes are filled with authentic vintage vehicles and well-costumed people to drive/ride on said vehicles. Even vintage railway equipment or airplanes are available! It’s all eye candy for me!
