Not a surprise but

Ric (quote),
" It has survived a major attack from foreign sources."

Ric, not one body of a passenger was pulled from the wreckage of the ‘aircraft’ that hit the Pentagon. I worked 35 years in the aviation industry and read extensively into air crash investigations to hopefully glean some knowledge as to the cause of the accident. In all my reading I have yet seem one accident reported that did not yield human remains. The powers to be are telling us that all the human remains were incinerated and yet paper and wood survived the impact and the fire. Look to the initial impact photographs. The Pentagon was not hit by a commercial airliner. They got away with this one and fooled the voters, not that it would take much.

Osama Bin Laden did not act alone and blood is on the hands of those in power. You want more like that in the oval office, prepared to sacrifice lives to achieve a politically insecure and morally insane idiology!

Tim,
In your opinion what hit the Pentagon and where is the missing airliner and the people?

Uh, Tim, best double up on your meds, lad.

“Kool-Aid drinker” !!!

Would you buy a toy train from this man?

Hey guys,

What is even more convoluted than the “LGB Saga”?

Anything to do with an American presidental campaign!

HJ,
There’s a ring of truth in that. Most people outside the US can’t understand it and I’m afraid many inside the US get bewildered as well.

The Byzantines would probably understand it. Of course, if this were a truly Byzantine campaign, half the candidates would by now have been poisoned, strangled, stabbed or drowned. Sometimes along with their families. Terminal term limits. ;)

In this instance I would have to say that the biggest fault with our government is much the same as just before Pearl Harbor. All the signs were there…just nobody could believe what they were seeing. A bad case of “Nobody is stupid enough to attack the US”.

And nobody ever seems to learn from history. :frowning:

I’m so confused.

How does this square with your “Bush is an idiot, Bush got us into an illegal war,” campaign?

Since when did the attack on 911 and the invasion of Iraq have anything to do with each other? The only connection is in the BS the politicians (Mini Me Bush and the puppet master Cheney) have tried to get the people of the US to swallow…which has been proven time and time again to be fabricated lies. Have you not figured out yet that Iraq and Saddam had NOTHING to do with 911, nothing to do with weapons of mass distruction and nothing to do with bin Ladin?

Sorry Warren,

Can’t share your beliefs, there are some radicals out to kill Christians and I do believe that.

So noted - sorry sometimes this is to close to families that have suffered because of strong beliefs of others not met by strong enough beliefs by some.

Ok, Warren...with this I'll agree. The rest? eh....

Ric, Sorry old sweat, but your prejudices are showing..."all rag heads" are no more alike than "all black people" or "all hispanics", or "all middle aged white males". The majority of those PEOPLE are no more to blame for the actions of the radicals or politicians (in many cases they didn't even have the luxury of voting for them) than you are for the crummy stuff the CIA does.

BTW Christians taught the Muslims “conversion by the sword”…

I have been thinking about how to comment, I live in the US but can not vote, I thought I was going to make it for the Pressie elections, but the totally screwed up Immigration system will preven that. Personally I like Ron Paul.

I can vote in the UK, but of course I do not live there.

It is VERY dificult to get a proper view from outside, or even visiting.

I was in the UK when GW got re-elected, even the right wing media in the UK could not undertand that, and I must admt it is only slighty less confusing having been here 4 years. You still meet GW apologists, you can only stare and wonder, even from a Conservative perspective the guy is a disaster.

The Iraq thing has always amused me, the Pearl Harbor comparison can be used, but it would be like invading China instead of Japan because they both have slitty eyes.

Simplistically, unlike most places I have been to, it is VERY easy in the US for many people to have no real contact with outside events, the local media is garbage, most people do not watch the nationals, just look at their ratings, and the vast majorty of people I know have limited connectivity with issues outside their State, never mind their Country. Where I am it takes 7 hours on clear roads to get to to the State Capitol, except the passses are closed, and it could be a week before they open, the good news is that the Airport has re-opened.

Sorry about the improper statement, it was edited. After all this is a train forum.

We, The United States of America, are a nation of people out of touch with the reality that awaits us, and when it finally arrives most will stare at each other scratching their heads and wondering “what happened?”.

One can’t really blame past/current Presidents or the Media for the mess we find ourselves in. I look back upon those of us who have elected and re-elected the mob of useless power hungry idiots that run this country (into the ground). I really do not believe there is any way to fix what we have all (US Citizens) had a part in breaking.

cale

and fyi, I voted Paul in the SC primary…why not, of all involved, his values most reflect mine.

Recommendation: read “It can’t happen here”, Sinclair Lewis, 1935 whenever the urge to scratch your head hits you!

A few weeks ago as I was coming back from Springfield, MA I listened to an interview 50 minutes did with FBI (Agent?) who debriefed Saddam Hussein after his capture. When the subject came up in regards to WMD’s Saddam said that they had been cleaned up by the inspectors after the 1991 war but He kept up the illusion that they still had them. BTW, the US was not the only country that was fooled by this.

I agree we should never have gone into Iraq but once we did it is our responsibility to clean up after ourselves.
