I looked at the railcam at Chesterton Indiana around 3.45pm EDT. I noticed quite a few people gathering there which alerted me to the possibilities of something other than a NS diesel or two.
About 4.20 p, EDT, heading west, was NKP 765 plus an NS diesel, some gonds and the support passenger cars.
I was good to hear it, even if it wasn’t working hard and of course the whistle also sounded great as it approached the grade crossing.
