Nicholas Smith Trains

Hi guys!
Is anyone having trouble with buying on line at Nicholas Smith? It keeps saying to “fix” the info. It is correct!
My credit card is good (I use it almost every day) and it is accepted on all web sites except theirs.
I have tried different browsers with no success.

John, I have run into this type of issue when the autofill loads any info on some sights. I have found that even though a royal PITA if I physically type in the same info the site accepts it and lets me move forward.JWIHN YMMV :sunglasses:

just saw this on a feed I watch:
Starting March 23rd, Chase Bank will restrict some Zelle payments originating from social media contacts, aiming to combat a rise in Zelle-related scams, where almost 50% of reported scams to Chase originated on social media.

Here’s a breakdown of the changes:

  • Blocking Zelle Payments:

Chase will delay, decline, or block Zelle payments identified as originating from social media contacts.

  • Social Media Fraud Increase:

Nearly half of Chase fraud reports received between June and December 2024 were linked to transactions that originated on social media platforms.

  • Why the Change:

Zelle, while a convenient money transfer service, is becoming a target for malicious actors on social media.

  • No Purchase Protection:

It’s important to note that neither JPMorgan Chase nor Zelle offer purchase protection for non-receipt, damage, or “not as described” claims related to goods or services purchased using Zelle.

  • Customer Action:

Customers may be contacted by Chase via email, text, or phone to inquire about the purpose of the payment to assess potential fraud risk.

  • Be Vigilant:

Chase advises users to be cautious when sending money through Zelle for transactions initiated through social media and to verify the recipient’s legitimacy.

I disabled auto fill. Entered info manually and same thing. No acceptance until I fixed something.
Their “contact us” does not work either.
Next is a phone call and tell them to fix it if they want my business.

I live close enough to help. Would be a good reason to visit and drool all over their display cases.

Call them
Order on the phone.

Wayne, Very kind of you. But it’s not that important. I can get it where a dealer actually wants my business.

Richard, no one gets my card number vocally. Two years ago, I was hacked and lost $6,000 out of my account. MY bank replaced it, but…

John,
If you run an add blocker try white listing it or disabling it . Could also be due to a VPN …youtube, target and a few others do not like vpns. Why that is I do not know.

Found out it has something to do with Captcha. (Where you pick out the same item in a bunch of square pictures). I even tried it with my PC laptop that I use for Rail Pro and Phoenix programming.
It’s Nicholas Smith’s problem. There isn’t a Captcha when I log in to my account, but there is supposed to be one.
